Founded in 2025, T&K’s Youth Academy was created to uplift youth across California by providing access to mentorship, athletic opportunities, and the support needed to thrive. Rooted in the belief that every child deserves the chance to succeed, our mission is to build character, foster discipline, and remove financial barriers to sports participation.

Through our core programs youth sports sponsorships and mentorship through athletics we empower young athletes to grow on and off the field. Whether it’s helping a child join a team for the first time, providing equipment and resources, or offering guidance through trusted mentors, we’re committed to creating environments where youth can build confidence, connection, and purpose.

Our Purpose
Our purpose is to support and mentor youth through sports programs by removing financial barriers, fostering discipline and respect, and eventually offering specialized training in agility, baseball, and football to help young athletes reach their full potential.
Meet Our Founder
Jerica Ah Ching “Jerry” – Founder & Visionary Leader of T&K’s Youth Academy
 
Jerica Ah Ching—also known as “Jerry” is a dedicated mentor, community advocate, and the visionary founder behind T&K’s Youth Academy. Born and raised in Southern California, Jerry embodies a deep spirit of resilience, service, and leadership. After serving 21 years in the United States Navy and rising to the rank of Chief Petty Officer, Jerry transitioned into civilian life with a powerful sense of purpose: to uplift youth through the transformative power of sports.
 
Jerry’s military career instilled in him the core values of discipline, teamwork, and perseverance principles he now channels into youth development. As a passionate volunteer coach across numerous recreation centers, Jerry has made it his mission to foster a love for sports while helping young athletes build character, confidence, and lasting connections.
 
Motivated by the financial barriers he witnessed families face, Jerry envisioned an academy that would make youth sports more accessible, affordable, and empowering. He believes that with the right support system, every child regardless of background deserves a chance to grow, compete, and thrive both on and off the field.
 
Under Jerry’s leadership, T&K’s Youth Academy is more than just a sports program it’s a movement to inspire excellence, build stronger communities, and shape future leaders through mentorship, opportunity, and heart.
